Foster families are the heart of a foster-based rescue. These precious souls come to us from a multitude of backgrounds.. From having been with one family their whole lives and life as they know it changing, and then some who have never known what it's like to have a family. Fosters acclimate them to being in a household, until they are ready to find their forever family.

We will help you every step of the way and don't worry, if you fall in love, foster families have 2 weeks to make a decision if they would like to adopt. (Adoption fee still applies so the rescue can recoup vetting expenses).

Encore pays for all supplies and vetting, you just provide love, TLC, and patience. Sometimes a few weeks is all it takes to get them on the road to their encore!
